Strawberry mango sorbet in a cup.

I love a quick and healthy recipe that satisfies my sweet tooth. And in the summer I love anything cold that will help cool me off. My apple juice popsicles are one of my favorite frozen treats.

And this strawberry mango is another favorite because all you need is 3 ingredients, including, frozen fruit to make a quick delicious sorbet.

What makes this recipe great

  • You know exactly what is inside of it and it is healthy! This strawberry mango sorbet is made of only frozen fruit, almond milk, and honey.
    • If you look at Häagen-Dazs strawberry sorbet, for example, it has corn syrup and sugar in it. This recipe doesn’t.
  • It comes together in a matter of minutes.
  • It is easy to customize. This recipe can easily be made Vegan, Paleo, and Dairy-free.

Recipe ingredients

Ingredients needed to make strawberry mango sorbet.
  • Frozen strawberries– organic strawberries are ideal here but use whatever you have on hand.
  • Frozen mango– organic mango chunks is what I use in this recipe.
  • Coconut milk or almond milk– any milk of choice works here.
  • Maple syrup- make sure to use pure maple syrup.

See recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

Additions/ Substitutions

  • Instead of frozen strawberries, you can use frozen mixed berries.
  • Instead of coconut milk or almond milk, you can use regular milk or oat milk. Use whatever works with your dietary needs or what you have on hand.
  • Instead of maple syrup, you can use honey. Just know that honey is not Vegan.

How to make sorbet in the blender

  • To make this recipe, put all of the ingredients into a blender and mix on the appropriate settings.
  • You may need to scrape the sides of the blender often.
  • You may need to add more liquid to get the right consistency.
  • For my Ninja Blender, I had to use the crush setting and then the blend setting. For my Vitamix, I used the frozen setting.

  1. This was AMAZING. I don’t believe that this is two servings, because I devoured it whole and found myself scraping the bowl! I used 1 tsp maple syrup instead of the honey, but that was the only substitution. I found this on the PhoenixHelix roundtable. So fantastic and such a treat while following AIP – thank you!

    1. I can eat the whole thing myself too! haha I’m happy that you liked it. 🙂 I like the idea of using maple syrup, I’ll have to try that soon!
