These apple juice popsicles have been made on repeat in my house! They are naturally sweetened and made out of only fruit and fruit juice. That’s it!

They are seriously the easiest healthy popsicle recipe, and they are perfect for summer! And they are totally toddler and kid approved!

These apple popsicles are a fun project to make as a family.

Even though these Apple Juice and Berry Popsicles are low calorie ( 40 per popsicle) and made with real ingredients you will not have to sacrifice with taste here… they are incredibly sweet and refreshing!

Ingredients needed to make these Apple Juice popsicles:

  • apple juice
  • fresh berries

Yup! Only two ingredients!

I find apple juice to be naturally sweet, so it is the perfect liquid to use to freeze.

You can buy 100% pure apple juice without any additives at the grocery store.

I used Martinelli’s to make this recipe. But you can also juice fresh apples using a juicer.

How to make popsicles with juice:

It is easy!

Step 1: Pour berries in popsicle molds

Step 2: Pour apple juice in popsicle molds

Step 3: Put popsicle sticks on top of popsicle molds

Step 4: Freeze.

Yup that’s easy enough for me!

Note: I bought these Lebice BPA-free popsicle molds on Amazon for about $10. Worth it!

I love how these taste like apple but have chunks of frozen berries mixed in, so the berry flavor seeps into every bite. The sweetness from the apple juice compliments the sour berry flavors very well.

I also love not adding any sweetener to the recipe.

I’ve tried popsicle recipe testing with various other fruit purees and found that honey or maple syrup helps with adding a nice hint of sweetness, but this is totally unnecessary here.

Simple is best in this case.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup apple juice (all natural, no sugar added) (either store bought or freshly juiced)
  • mixed berries (enough to fill each popsicles mold)

Instructions

  • Slice strawberries, and then fill each popsicle mold with the mixed berries. Put a few of the sliced strawberries pieces against the edge of the popsicle molds. ( All in all, I used 6 blackberries, 18 blueberries, 12 raspberries, and 5 strawberries to fill six popsicle molds)
  • Pour apple juice into the popsicle molds and on top of the berries until filled to the top. This was 1 1/4 cup of apple juice for me. Top each popsicle mold with the popsicle sticks.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours.

Notes

Note: I used these Lebice BPA-free popsicle molds.
