This pear vodka cocktail is a crisp, refreshing cocktail made with fresh mint, bright citrus, flavorful pear liqueur and zesty ginger beer. This drink is sweet, tart, spicy and the perfect Fall or Winter drink!

Seriously, if you are on the look out for a pear cocktail, this is the drink for you. It’s not only delicious, but it is so easy to make.
I got the idea for this drink from my recent Animal Kingdom trip actually. I went to the Nomad lounge and tried the “Snow Leopard Salvation”, which is basically a pear moscow mule, and knew I had to recreate it at home. My passion fruit gin cocktail was also inspired by my visit there, and I now make both cocktails regularly.

What makes this recipe great
- Seasonal Fall pear flavor– Thanks to the pear liqueur, theres a nice pear flavor in this cocktail that adds the perfect sweetness.
- Easy to make– There are only five ingredients and no homemade syrups or complicated preparation here.
- Refreshing taste– the citrus balances out the sweetness of the pear and the ginger beer gives it all a zing.
- Great for Fall or Winter entertaining– Pear is a great cozy festive flavor during the Fall and Winter seasons. It is different than the usual apple or cranberry drinks. (Though if you like those, try my cranberry margarita or my apple whiskey cocktail)
Recipe ingredients

- Vodka– Use your vodka of choice. I personally have been loving Belvedere organic vodka. It is very clean tasting.
- Pear liqueur– I personally love this Drillaud pear liqueur that I got from Total Wine. It is delish.
- Lemon juice or lime juice– I love using both lemon juice and lime juice here. I know traditional moscow mules use lime, but both work for me.
- Mint leaves- Fresh mint leaves really add great flavor to this dish. Whether you buy them or get them from your yard, fresh is a must.
- Ginger beer– Choose your favorite ginger beer. It is important you like the flavor of it because it contributes to a lot of the flavor in this drink.
Step by step instructions:

Step 1: Muddle the mint in a cocktail shaker.

Step 2: Add the vodka, pear liqueur, ginger beer, lemon/lime juice and ice to the cocktail shaker and shake.

Step 3: Pour the pear cocktail mixture into an ice filled cup.
Expert tips
- Use moscow mule copper cups. These are not only aesthetically pleasing, but they also keep the drinks cold.
- Use ginger beer that you like the taste of! This is huge. There are a few brands that I don’t like because they are too spicy. So I have figured out which brands I like and this greatly impacts the drinks taste.
- Adding fresh pear to the drink adds a nice touch. You can add sliced pear on the rim of the glass, but also adding some in the drink itself is fun and tastes good too.
