High Protein Canned Chicken Salad with Greek Yogurt in a bowl with almonds and grapes on top.

Can I just say how much I love this chicken salad? Not only is it high protein, and made with Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise, but it also has a nice crunch from the almonds and grapes. The seasoning in this recipe adds an almost ranch-like taste, which is just the best!

This recipe comes together quickly since you are using canned chicken, which makes it perfect for meal prep or a simple fast lunch. Eat this chicken salad with some homemade almond flour crackers or on top of a butternut squash salad. YUM.

What makes this recipe great

  • It comes together in 10 minutes!
  • It is made with greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for added protein.
  • It is high protein! Each serving has 22 grams of protein, though my husband usually eats half the recipe in one sitting, which is about 33 grams of protein.
  • The grapes add a nice sweetness and the almonds add a nice crunch.

Recipe ingredients

Ingredients needed to make this Greek yogurt chicken salad.
  • Greek yogurt– You can use any kind of unflavored Greek yogurt that you like, whether it is low fat or full fat.
  • Dijon mustard– this adds a nice spice to the salad.
  • Onion powder, garlic powder, dried dill, dried parsley– these herbs and spices create the hint of “ranch” flavor that you can taste in this recipe.
  • Canned chicken– I like to use premium chunk canned chicken breast in this recipe.
  • Sliced almonds– these add a nice crunch.
  • Grapes– any type of grape works here.
