This canned chicken salad is a delicious, high protein, quick and easy recipe made with canned chicken, sliced almonds, grapes, and greek yogurt. It comes together in 10 minutes and can be eaten alone, in a sandwich or on top of a salad.
Can I just say how much I love this chicken salad? Not only is it high protein, and made with Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise, but it also has a nice crunch from the almonds and grapes. The seasoning in this recipe adds an almost ranch-like taste, which is just the best!
This recipe comes together quickly since you are using canned chicken, which makes it perfect for meal prep or a simple fast lunch. Eat this chicken salad with some homemade almond flour crackers or on top of a butternut squash salad. YUM.

Step by step instructions
Step 1: Mix the greek yogurt, mustard, salt, pepper, dried dill, dried parsley, onion powder and garlic powder together in a bowl.
Step 2: Add the drained canned chicken to the bowl and break it up into pieces.
Step 3: Add the grapes and sliced almonds and mix.

High Protein Canned Chicken Salad with Greek Yogurt
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt, (5.3 ounces)
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 12.5 ounces canned chicken breast, drained
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup quartered grapes
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the greek yogurt, dijon mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, dried dill, dried parsley, salt, and pepper together. Mix until smooth.
- Add the drained canned chicken to the bowl and mix, breaking it up into pieces.
- Add the sliced almonds and grapes and mix.
- Serve right away or refrigerate before serving.
