These turmeric maple glazed carrots are roasted in the oven in a maple syrup and ground turmeric sauce until golden. These carrots make an easy and tasty side dish for meals.

Step by step instructions
Step 1: Mix the olive oil, maple syrup, turmeric, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Step 2: Put the carrots on a pre-greased cookie sheet. Cover in the sauce using a basting brush.
Step 3: Bake until the carrots are fork tender.

Turmeric Maple Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 lb large carrots, , peeled
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- a sprinkle of ground black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
- Mix salt, pepper, olive oil, ground turmeric and maple syrup together in bowl.
- Spray the cookie sheet with olive oil. Lay the carrots onto the cookie sheet and cover in the maple turmeric sauce using a basting brush.
- Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the carrots become gold and soft and you can easily stab them with a knife. If you like your carrots more or less cooked, add more or less time to the cooking.
