Turmeric Maple Glazed Carrots
Carrots roasted in the oven in a maple syrup and turmeric glaze. They make an easy and tasty side dish for meals.

- 1 lb large carrots , peeled
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- a sprinkle of ground black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Mix salt, pepper, olive oil, ground turmeric and maple syrup together in bowl.
Spray the cookie sheet with olive oil. Lay the carrots onto the cookie sheet and cover in the maple turmeric sauce using a basting brush. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the carrots become gold and soft and you can easily stab them with a knife. If you like your carrots more or less cooked, add more or less time to the cooking.
