The flavors of banana, maple syrup, and almond butter compliment each other really well, so if you like those flavors, this smoothie is for you!

The banana adds a pleasant sweetness and thickness to the smoothie, while the almond butter adds a satisfying creaminess.

And the maple syrup adds a nice maple sweetness. So good!

Seriously though, if you haven’t tried mixing banana, maple syrup and almond butter together in a smoothie, you are missing out!

Tips on making it

Tip 1: Freeze your overripe bananas!

I always freeze overripe bananas and save them for smoothies. It’s simple to do. Just peel the banana, put it into a plastic bag and then into the freezer.

Tip 2: Use real maple syrup

Aside from the health benefits of real maple syrup, the taste of real maple syrup is not comparable to any “maple” alternatives.

Tip 3: Use the yogurt of your choice

Plain or vanilla yogurt is best. I also really like greek yogurt in this recipe as well. I personally have to be dairy-free right now so I use dairy-free yogurt, but use whatever works best for you.

Tip 4: Use as little or as much ice as you want

I personally like adding a bit more bc I like the texture and coldness. Start with a little but then add more as you go.
