Chocolate Cherry Smoothie with Banana
This chocolate cherry smoothie with banana is a delicious nutrient dense smoothie that tastes like dessert, but can be eaten any time of day!
If you love the combination of chocolate and cherries, then you will love this cherry smoothie. It is made with a handful of ingredients, has a nice chocolate taste from the cocoa powder, and is filled with cherry flavor from the frozen cherries. It is naturally sweetened with banana and has extra omega 3’s from chia seeds.
This smoothie tastes like a frozen chocolate cherry dessert in a bowl but is actually healthy for you! I love having healthy smoothies like that for breakfast. If you do as well, check out my Cherry Mango Carrot Smoothie or Spirulina Smoothie with Banana.

Oh wow, I’m so sorry to hear about your illness! I just got over bronchitis (I get it every six months, give or take) and it lingers forever, but I can’t imagine having to deal with that all the time. I wish you a speedy recovery! And what a yummy smoothie recipe – can’t wait to give it a try.
Thanks so much Amy! It is quite annoying, but I feel like it’s slowly getting better now that I haven’t worked out for a few weeks. Fingers crossed I can jump back into working out like normal once the pain goes away!
