I just can’t get enough of homemade taco seasoning lately! I’ve been adding it to ground turkey and ground chicken almost every day and have been loving how the seasoning flavors pair with vegetables, especially avocado. Yum!

To avoid making the same dish toooo often, I took the ingredients that I normally use, but put them into a different form. A meatball form, to be exact. A high-protein, taco-party in your mouth, meatball form… to be super exact!

Why are these Paleo Chicken Taco Meatballs a taco party in your mouth?? Well, for starters, the spices add an extra something something to the dish. 🙂 They taste like taco meat but in meatball form, who doesn’t love that?!

And while your tastebuds are having a fiesta, you can join right in knowing that this is a healthy, protein packed recipe. In one serving of this recipe (which is about 5 meatballs), there are 26 grams of protein!

If that wasn’t good enough, these meatballs are super easy to make and to eat. All you need are toothpicks or your fingers.

And when I say easy to eat, I mean there is less mess. I mean, I can’t be the only one that makes a mess every time that I scoop ground taco meat into a taco or salad… haha

So… Less mess, check! Easy to make, check! Delicious, check! Full of protein, double check! All of which means that these Paleo Chicken Taco Meatballs are the perfect snack or party food.

I made these the other day and left some of the extras on the kitchen counter… before I knew it, my husband had eaten all of them!

I kind of wish that I had thought of this recipe before Cinco de Mayo, buuuuut taco meatballs are good for any time of year!
