  • 1 lb ground chicken (or ground turkey)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 medium carrots chopped in a food processor (3/4 cup minced)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 3 Tbs tomato paste
  • 1 Tbs mustard
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp blackstrap molasses

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 in x 5 in loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides so you can easily lift the meatloaf out of the pan when it has cooled.
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, ground turkey, the minced carrots, eggs, almond flour, tomato paste, mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, parsley, oregano, basil, sage, and pepper together.
  • In a small bow, mix the ketchup and blackstrap molasses together.
  • Put the meatloaf mixture into the loaf tin and evenly pat it down. Put it in the oven for 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and top with the ketchup molasses mixture. Cook for another 60 minutes.
  • Let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
