Soak your almonds in filtered water for 8-12 hours.
Drain the almonds and then put them into a blender.
Add 6 cups of water, 2 tsp vanilla, 5 medjool dates, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, and 10 fresh mint leaves to the blender and mix for about a minute ( you may need to mix for more or less time depending on the strength of your blender…).
Pour the contents of the blender into a Nut Milk Bag to strain it. Twist & squeeze the bag until all the almond milk is out and the pulp is separated from the milk. I placed my nut milk bag into a large glass container and then twisted and squeezed the almond milk directly into the glass container.
Bottle the almond milk and chill in the refrigerator.
