Healthy Homemade Strawberry Daiquiris

A clean strawberry daiquiris cocktail recipe made of all natural simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice
  • 16 ounces frozen whole strawberries
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup white rum ( note: omit the rum to make these virgin and Paleo)
  • 3 Tbs hot water
  • 3 Tbs honey

Instructions

  • Mix 3 Tbs of honey with 3 Tbs of hot water to make a “honey syrup”. Mix until the honey is dissolved and set the bowl aside.
  • Put the ice, frozen strawberries, lemon juice, lime juice and rum into a blender until well mixed. Add the honey syrup, mix again. Taste. If you want your drink to be sweeter make more honey syrup with another Tbs of honey and water.
  • Note: you can also make these virgin by omitting the rum.

Notes

  • Instead of making honey syrup, you can use maple syrup. It doesn't need to be mixed into hot water, just pour it in as is.
  • Instead of white rum, you can use a brown rum. Just use whatever you prefer and have on hand.
