Grain-free Turkey & Beef Fall Meatloaf
A tasty grain free meatloaf with ground turkey and beef for an easy weeknight dinner.

Meatloaf ingredients:
- 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup minced shallots (this was 1 large shallot for me)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
Sauce ingredients:
- 1 Tbs honey
- 1/3 cup strained tomatoes ( Pomi is my favorite and made of only tomatoes)
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- optional- a few sliced cherry tomatoes to top the meatloaf
- optional a pinch of thyme
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Put all of the meatloaf ingredients into a large bowl and mix. I mixed everything together with my hands but you can do so with a fork.
Place the meat into a lightly greased tin.( I used a 9.25 x 5.25 x 2.75 inch tin pan) Pat down with a fork.
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
Pour the sauce on top of the meatloaf in the pan. Optional: Top with a few sliced cherry tomatoes and a pinch of thyme.
Put the pan into the oven and cook for 1 hour.
