Almond Flour Matcha Brownies ( Gluten free, Dairy free, Paleo)

These almond flour matcha brownies are delicious green tea and chocolate flavored blondies that are naturally Gluten free, Dairy free and Paleo.

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, coconut flour, matcha powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon with a fork until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, whisk the egg, vanilla, maple syrup, olive oil, apple sauce, and almond milk together until well blended and the mixture thickens.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until everything is blended. Fold in the chocolate chips and raisins.
  • Line an 8 x 8 inch pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake for 22-26 minutes, or until the edges are firm.
  • Optional- drizzle with melted chocolate.

Notes

  • Instead of olive oil, you can use avocado oil or coconut oil.
  • Instead of almond milk, you can use any non-dairy milk of choice.
  • Instead of raisins, you can add more chocolate chips. (But don't knock the raisins until you try it)
