Ground Turkey Meatballs with Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut aminos (or balsamic vinegar)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Cover a cookie sheet in aluminum foil.
  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Roll into tablespoon sized balls and place on cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. If you want to add a golden hue to your meatballs, broil for 1-2 minutes, until golden.
