Spirulina Smoothie with Banana, Orange, and Mango

A nutrient dense smoothie full of vitamins, minerals and protein. Made with spirulina powder (a blue-green algae), mango, orange, banana, and almond milk.

Instructions

  • Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • This recipe yields 3 cups of smoothie. This should could serve 1 or 2 people depending on the size of the smoothie.

Notes

  • Instead of almond milk, you can use any milk of choice.
  • You can add hemp seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs and nut butter on top of your smoothie.
  • You can add nut butter to the smoothie itself before blending.
If you want a thinner smoothie, add more milk. If you want it to be thicker, add less.
