Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teapsoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Take a heaping tablespoon of the ground meat mixture and roll in your hands to create a meatball shape. I like to use a mini cookie scoop. Repeat until all the meatballs are formed. You will end up with roughly 18-20 meatballs.
  • Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes.

Notes

  • Instead of ground turkey, you can use ground chicken.
  • Instead of grated Parmesan, you can use grated pecorino or any aged Italian grated cheese.
  • Instead of olive oil, you can use avocado oil.
  • You can add dried basil, dried oregano, or any other herbs and seasonings of your liking.
