Diet: Gluten Free
Servings: 18 meatballs
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teapsoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix well.
Take a heaping tablespoon of the ground meat mixture and roll in your hands to create a meatball shape. I like to use a mini cookie scoop. Repeat until all the meatballs are formed. You will end up with roughly 18-20 meatballs.
Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes.
- Instead of ground turkey, you can use ground chicken.
- Instead of grated Parmesan, you can use grated pecorino or any aged Italian grated cheese.
- Instead of olive oil, you can use avocado oil.
- You can add dried basil, dried oregano, or any other herbs and seasonings of your liking.
