Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl, mix the chocolate chips with your oil. Put the bowl into the microwave for 30 seconds, then mix everything around. Heat for another 30 seconds, mix everything around again. If the chocolate isn't completely melted at this point, heat for another 20-30 seconds and mix. Set the melted chocolate aside.
  • Arrange the dried fruit in the pattern of your choice, in the chocolate candy molds, put the lollipop sticks into the mold, then top the individual chocolate molds with chocolate until the mold is full. ( If you want to make the chocolate easier to pour, heat it in the microwave for 15 extra seconds). Smooth out with a knife if you need to.
  • Top the chocolate filled molds with dried fruit to make double sided lollipops, again arrange the dried fruit in the pattern of your choice.
  • Put the mold into the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Lift the lollipop sticks upward, and the chocolate lollipops should pop out of the mold easily.

Notes

  • I like to melt the chocolate in these awesome silicone mixing bowls. They bend, which makes it really easy to pour the chocolate without a mess.
  • Make sure not to burn your chocolate as you melt it, otherwise it will be become hard and difficult to manage. That is why it is important to heat the chocolate up slowly. That is why I only heat the chocolate in 30 second batches in the microwave.
