Maple Glazed Turmeric Carrots (Paleo, GF)
Maple and turmeric carrots make an easy and tasty side dish for meals.

- 6-8 large carrots , peeled
- about 1 Tbs of olive oil
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp of ground turmeric
- a sprinkle of ground black pepper
- 1 Tbs maple syrup
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper.
Lay the carrots onto the cookie sheet and sprinkle the olive oil on top. Roll the carrots around in the olive oil so they are fully coated in it.
Sprinkle the maple syrup on top of the carrots. Evenly top the carrots with the ground turmeric.
Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the carrots become gold and soft and you can easily stab them with a knife. If you like your carrots more or less cooked, add more or less time to the cooking.
