New Year’s Eve is around the corner! And whether you are celebrating at home or going to a big party, it’s always nice to have healthy, clean and Paleo recipe options to snack on.

Might as well ring in the New Year with delicious, yet healthy food! Maybe even get those New Year’s Resolutions started as soon as possible. 🙂

I’ve personally been looking forward to 2017, and to making some positive healthy changes.

For starters, I want to be more consistent in my workouts and daily activity. I know, I know, this is like the most cliché New Year’s Eve resolution! haha But in the last two years, I haven’t been the most consistent. I’ll work out several times a week for a few months, then I’ll work out 1-2 times a week for a few months, and then I’ll take a month off here and there. In 2017, I want to maintain motivation, try different types of workouts, and be strong and healthy.

2 years ago I had a surgery that took a lot out of me physically and emotionally, and I feel like it put me on this off working out schedule ever since. I have not mentioned this on this blog before, but I was really down for a while after my surgery, and it took me time to recover, and to accept and get over everything that happened. I won’t go too much into it now, because it would take me forever, buuuuut I’m finally feeling more like myself and I’m thinking it’s time to get back to being a healthier me.

As for my next “new years” resolution, it is to continue eating clean and to incorporate more of the “clean” recipes that I cook into my blog. I do eat Paleo often, but I also eat quinoa and oatmeal, and goat’s cheese. I want this blog to reflect my life, and so I look forward to incorporating that into the blog. 🙂

The last few resolutions that I have for 2017 are that I want to make more time to keep in touch with loved ones, to think about what I am grateful about everyday, and to be on my phone less. 🙂
